Shipping and Returns

Every item we sell is made to order and engraved to your specifications. That shapes how shipping and returns work, so please read this before ordering.

Shipping

Shipping within the United States is free on every order. Orders ship from Reston, Virginia by USPS or UPS with tracking, and you receive the tracking number by email when your order leaves the shop.

Because each piece is engraved after you order, production time comes before shipping time. Single items are engraved within a few business days in most cases. Larger or multi-piece orders take longer, and we confirm a date when we approve your design. Local customers in Northern Virginia can arrange pickup or drop-off by contacting us.

Proofs and approvals

You approve a proof of the exact engraving before anything is cut. Engraving is permanent, so check spelling, dates and placement carefully at that step. Once you approve a proof, the design is final.

Returns and exchanges

Personalized items cannot be resold, so we do not accept returns or exchanges for change of mind, ordering the wrong size, or errors in the text you approved on the proof.

If your order arrives damaged, or the engraving does not match the proof you approved, contact us within 14 days of delivery at info@aioncustomworks.com with photos. We will re-engrave and replace the item at no charge, or refund you if a replacement is not possible. We cover return shipping in those cases.

Cancellations

You can cancel for a full refund any time before you approve the proof. After approval, materials are committed and engraving begins, so cancellation is no longer possible.
